How To Make A Kawaii Onigiri Make Up Pouch From Felt Tutorial

I always had a difficulty trying to sift through the sea of things that are always stashed in my bag. Particularly little things like make up. Panic digging into my bag for lip gloss becomes a habit especially if there is a Johnny Depp  look alike who is strolling my way. I never got around buying a make up bag for my stuff because I never could find one that I really liked. So today, I decided to make me an Onigiri make up pouch from felt. Being a huge fan of sushi, it is only right to make something like this.
This isn't too big and is really good if you carry around a few items to touch up during the day. I love how the seaweed part is the closure to this pouch. Gives it such a nice touch. With that, I leave you with this week's felt tutorial and hope you stay tuned for more. I love you guys!
Oh yes, before I forget. What do you think about my new hair? Another shamless picture just for you. HAH!
Tutorial and template will be up tonight.
Onigiri Pouch Template ( I made a cuter shape compared to the one I had in the tutorial)

  5. hi there!
can i ask what kinda scissors you use to cut the felt? my scissors are kinda wonky when cutting on the round edges, especially on the small rounds parts (eg: eye), it doesn't really cut smoothly to create a round edge..or is there some kinda way to cut it?
How did you make the onigiri blush looks puffy? mine looks flat ~

great blog btw! hope to see more of your creations soon ;)

    1. Hiya there!! My onigiri looks puffy probably because of my felt quality. I get my felt from Daiso. Best felt in the world in my opinion LOL!....As for scissors, it has to be super sharp, preferably scissors that are specifically made for fabric only. Hope this helped! HUGS

can I also ask for the Vintage Peter Pan collar grey felt, where did you get that felt? I went to Daiso(1Utama), the grey felt I found it's the same as your Mamegoma Green Tea Cup plushie, the collar felt color is lighter~ sorry for so many questions @.@
