Plushie Making 101 : Basic Stitches

It is that time of the year. The time where I shower you guys with a boring video on how I sew. Nothing much to jive about but this has been a frequent request on my social networks, YouTube included and considering the fact that my very first basic stitching tutorial was a bunch of 'omgwhatintheworldwasthatstitch' kind of tutorial, I think this was a worthy cause to dig up some scrap felt and come up with a better version of my predecessor.
The tutorial was divided into 2 parts. First part being the basic stitching tutorial and some tips and tricks on how I make my stitches neat. Quite a famous question on my channel that one. The second part was one of my most requested basic stitching tutorial and it is on how to sew a blanket stitch when there are things in the way such as little plushie feet, hands and all that.
I hope I made sense in my tutorial and just to amp things up a little, I made a baby Pusheen cat while filming it. You can't go wrong with Pusheen. He is the reason I live.

    1. I use normal thread from Daiso. They are cheap and super good. You can also opt for thicker threads, but I wouldn't recommend as thicker threads will do more harm to felt than good. :) Hugs

  2. If I hear correctly, you say that you are doing a fell stitch, or is it a felt stitch?
