Cute Romantic Date Outfits Lookbook - Mori Girl Inspired

Mori Girl Inspired Fashion: Hello fluffies! I was feeling a little romantic, cute and in tune with nature today. This reminded me of a fashion trend I truly loved while in Japan. Mori Girls or otherwise known as forest girls always dress in neutral beautiful colors of nature. Often clad in layers, soft loose fitting dresses, lace and handmade accessories, Mori girls are such an inspiration when it comes to fashion and me. This week, I put together a mini lookbook on my YouTube channel with the cutest outfits ever! I chose to feature lace because I am a die hard fan of lace, and I wanted to show you my softer not so quirky side of fashion. The main pieces of this outfit can be found at Sammydress (Links provided below).

Inspired by Mori Girl fashion, I put this cute dressy outfit together. I have no words to describe this gorgeous lace dress. It has such detailing and the fabric is soft and oh so comfy! If you are a fan of lace like I am, this is a must have. All I need now is a dainty little tea cup and a picnic spread on the floor. I wanted to bring a different look to this dress, hence I opted for ribbon embellished socks and cream colored pumps. Like always, I put on a  mesh hat to pull this mori girl style together. If you met someone on the street donning an outfit like this. It would definitely be me. I am after all a different story altogether when it comes to style and fashion.

I always think that the true essence of fashion is captured when you come to terms with who you are as a person. I am not one for expensive clothing, neither am I one for runway inspired looks. Why? Because I am me and I learnt this during my time in Japan. Fashion in Japan is colorful, full of life and is all about rule breaking. Outfits that would pass off as fashion blunders, are celebrated in Japan and that itself is art. I love this outfit. It has to be my favorite outfit thus far. I love how soft it looks with the mesh and lace combined on the blouse and at the same time it has a boyish element which I adore. As always, I complete my looks with socks, stockings and a hat of some sort and this was no different. It is my signature. Or imagination.
